What actually happens in a consultation
About fifty minutes, in a fixed order, ending with a plan on paper. Here is the whole thing, so nothing about the visit is a surprise.

Most patients who come to the clinic have been managing a condition for years without anyone sitting with them long enough to explain what their own body is doing. A consultation here is built around fixing that, so it takes longer than most and follows the same order every time.
It opens with the history
The first fifteen minutes are a long, unhurried account of the problem: when it started, what has already been tried, what you are taking now, and what changed in your life around the time it began. Nothing is prescribed at this stage.
Then your lifestyle, then your reports
What you actually eat, how you actually sleep, how much you actually move, and the stress you are carrying. Metabolic and gut health run on those four far more than most patients are ever told — and unlike your genetics, they are the part you can change.
Your HbA1c, ultrasound and lipid profile are then read in front of you and explained in plain Urdu. Nothing is prescribed on a number you do not understand.
You leave with it written down
The last part of the visit is the plan: the formulation, the dose, what to eat, what to stop, and which of your existing medicines continue unchanged. It goes on paper, because a plan you cannot remember is not a plan.
You are reviewed at four weeks with fresh readings. A plan that has not moved your numbers by the second review is changed, not repeated.
Natural supplements are dispensed alongside the medicines your physician has already prescribed — never as a replacement for them, and never without a consultation.
